  1. This is a maintenance release of MacLibrarian which replaces version 1.1.3 and version 1.5.3.  Version 1.5.4 fixes reported bugs and has had minor changes see below for details.  The manual for version 1.5. is available from the same place you got MacLibrarian ( AOL or Compuserve).

The manual is 72 pages.  If you are using A4 paper to print then you need to check that page breaks are clean.  I had to insert a manual page break at the bottom of page 40 to ensure correct formatting for US Letter.  You should remove the page break and check the document for bad page breaks.  In addition,  you need to rerun the table of contents (use outline option and all levels).  See your Word user manual if you are not sure how to do this.

  5. If you would like a printed manual then send a cheque for US $15.00 to cover printing and handling charges.  This is what it costs me and I prefer NOT to get into the printing business but if you need it I will do it.  This service is available to registered users only.

  7. BUGS FIXED:
  8. Versions 1.1.3/1.5.3
  9. - Fixed empty archive bug which caused a crash.
  10. - Informs the user and continues If a bad record with the Library is detected when loading.  Previously it would quit.  
  11. -  Improved error message "Disk full" when stamping disk.
  12. - fixed crash on SE when double clicking in scroll bar position on new library.
  13. - Bad disk now displays a dialog. 
  14. - Fixed problem with certain disks being scanned.  Would limit the library size and would not let any more disks to be added.
  15. Version 1.5.4
  16. -  Added the ability to register users with a code instead of updating by mail.
  17. -  Moved the "MacLibrarian, Epsilon System: 613 591...." advert to the top of the label and is printed upside down ( ie. its on the backside of the label now ). 
  18. -  Fixed error to report error when your hard disk is full.

  20. - No errors were reported with the converter application.  I find that hard to believe!

  22. Note:  A personnel cheque is acceptable from US,UK, Europe, Japan, Australia.  You can use your local currency and take into account the conversion rate to US dollars.
